Education
Dr. Frost obtained her bachelor of science degree from Rockhurst University graduating with honors and summa cum laude. She then earned a DDS degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry graduating summa cum laude and ranked #1 in her class.
Specialty Training
Natalie completed a three-year Periodontics residency at the renowned University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio. While in Texas, she earned a Masters of Science Degree and Certificate in Periodontics. Her masters thesis was titled: “Periodontal Biotype: Gingival Thickness As It Relates to Probe Visibility and Buccal Plate Thickness.”
Outside the Office
Dr. Frost enjoys exercise, savoring restaurants & music, being outdoors, friends & family, and playing piano. She has two adorable children: Brayden (8) and Elliana (5).
Professional Organizations
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, Omaha District Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon-National Dental Honor Society, Nebraska Society of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontists and American Academy of Periodontology. In 2014, Dr. Frost earned the title of Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. In 2020, she was bestowed the tremendous honor of Fellow in the International College of Dentists. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only. To be a member of the college, a nominated dentist must pass a rigorous, peer-review process leading to the recognition of the individual’s “outstanding professional achievement, meritorious service, and dedication to the continued progress of dentistry for the benefit of humankind.”
Professional Experience
Dr. Frost has served as Past-Chair of the New Dentist Committee for the Nebraska Dental Association, Past-Chair of the Membership Committee for the Southwest Society of Periodontists and on the Board of Directors for the Omaha District Dental Society and Southwest Society of Periodontists. She also served as Chair for the Graduate Prichard Research Competition of the Southwest Society of Periodontists. From 2014-2019, Dr. Frost held an Adjunct Clinical Faculty position at Creighton University School of Dentistry. In 2018, she served as President of the Nebraska Society of Periodontology. She still donates her time as a visiting Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. She is currently, District V Trustee for the American Academy of Periodontology, Past-President of the Southwest Society of Periodontists and President of the Omaha District Dental Society.
Honors and Awards
She has received numerous awards and distinctions including the International College of Dentists Leadership Award, Quintessence Award-Recognition for Academic Achievement, Pat Allen Scholarship & Training for Minimally Invasive Soft Tissue Grafting for Teeth and Implants. She was also selected as one of three finalists in the nation for the prestigious American Academy of Periodontology Foundation-Dr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Kramer Scholar Award for Excellence. In 2020, she was awarded the honor of Fellowship in the International College of Dentists.
Areas of Expertise
Dr. Frost provides surgical periodontal, oral surgery, oral medicine, and implant related therapies. Her passion is helping patients achieve oral health and a beautiful smile. Dr. Frost's area of expertise involves implant dentistry, cosmetic soft tissue procedures and the treatment of periodontal and peri-implant disease. Natalie emphasizes an integrative treatment approach for her patients working in close coordination with restorative colleagues and other various dental and medical specialists. She is committed to providing the highest quality personalized care for her patients. She is trained in all aspects of periodontics using the newest technologies available.
